(1996 Mind Expansion), Nothing's Gonna Cheer You Up (1997 Third Gear), Out There in the Dark (1999 Del-Fi, reissued 2000 Poptones), The Book of Spectral Projections (2001 Poptones, USA version 2002 Rainbow Quartz), Supernatural Equinox (2003 Rainbow Quartz CD, Scratch Recordings extended vinyl version), Our Love Will Change the World (2004 Rainbow Quartz), Stay Happy (2006 Rainbow Quartz), Wide Awake in the Spirit World - The Best of Outrageous Cherry (2008 Wicked Cool), and now their new 2009 album, UNIVERSAL MALCONTENTS. Outrageous Cherry emerged from Detroit's underground scene of the early 90's, and quickly advanced from playing Troggs, Stooges and Monkees covers in the basement to becoming a prolific and enigmatic rock n' roll group with no cymbals, sometimes elaborate studio production, an inclination towards playing really long guitar solos, and Dylanesque amounts of lyrics.

Gun Outfit is an amazing new band from Olympia Washington. Three-piece rippers that take you back to a time when riffs were weird and hooks were awesome. Honing in on influences from past greats like MEAT PUPPETS and DINOSAUR JR, GUN OUTFIT create their own sound that is equal parts melody, jangle, punk and pop. Gun Outfit are part of an inspiring music world that includes other great northwest bands like SEX VID and SISTERS. On their debut 7" they inspire and twist a sound through three very different songs that stick together in a way, that seems to only makes sense to them. But it works! Gun Outfit prevails, they sound like the new sound you wish you had as a teenager. Like a dream you were waiting for. Like a brand new 45 you were wishing for all month, it finally came in the mail, and it is better than you could ever think. They are very nice humans as well.
