HELLAS MOUNDS
The name Hellas Mounds comes from the discovery of mountains near the Hellas basin on planet Mars. In keeping with otherworldly discoveries, HM has developed a sonic palette as unpredictable as it is focused. Space is the place for this pack of consummate musicians, but their sound is rooted deep in the Earth's core, creating psychedelic and ambient soundscapes that compliment their chunky, rhythmic and larger-than-life riffs. Even when their jams stretch to almost twenty minutes, songwriting takes the stage, as not one second is lost in self indulgence. Each piece tells the story that you've been waiting all of your life to hear.
